Website Submission to Search Engines
Whilst Google might dominate most search requests, there are cultural differences and individual preferences at play, meaning that you will wish to submit to all the major search engines.
I don’t recommend that you submit your site just yet, but want to recommend a tool for doing that :

WebCEO is a powerful collection of tools to make site submission and monitoring of ranking a breeze. Whilst there are limitations to the free edition, it still has enough features at your fingertips to enable me to recommend it.
If you do think about buying one of the fully paid versions, wait until you have given it a good tryout to make sure that it is right for you … and if you wait long enough, you will probably receive a discount coupon like me.
I suggest that you download and install this tool now as I will demonstrate how to use WebCEO for site submission as part of my series of Affilistore User Manual blog posts.

Just downloaded WebCEO, looks good so far - cheers for the link info.
Have you got any tips on getting the best out of it?
Hi Paul,
I keep meaning to get round to writing up more on WebCEO, but never seem to find the time.
1. Make sure you backup regularly. It auto-backs up every time that you shut down (or is it when it starts up - can’t remember), but I have a habit of leaving it running 24×7 and every now and then I lose one of my sites from it. The restores (through Data Guard are a breeze).
2. Update the knowledge base regularly. It is updated by the folks at WebCEO every 2-3 days and reacts to changes in the way the search engine APIs work etc.. Without those updates you will not get the best results.
3. If you are using the free edition, you will see that you are limited to comparing rankings for 5 key words even though you may have an extensive list. You can check on additional keywords by creating additional profiles.
4. Not tried it myself on Affilistore sites (isn’t too much you can do on that short of manufacturing reviews to help the keyword stuff), but the optimise tool seems pretty good at advising on the onpage SEO, and if you are running other sites, I think it could help.
Best advice is to try it out and play … I often find new features that I missed because it is so feature rich.
