Affilistore does a good job in filtering out unwelcome characters that can reate problems in generating SEO optimised URLs etc. But it doesn’t always get it right.

Have you ever expected to see “Barbecues & Accessories” becuase that is what in the feed, but what Affilistore shows is “Barbecuesandaccessories” instead.

There is a bug in Affilistore and the ampersand collapsing the words together is easy to fix.

Open up admin/includes/fd.inc.php and search for “and” near strreplace - there are a few examples.

Change to ” and ” with spaces and you will fix that. Refresh your feeds and the job is done.

To remove other characters from replacement/deletion set look at includes/fixlist.inc.php, but do operate with care - There may be very good reasons not to modify this list.
