Affilistore is customisable through its template structure and the use of CSS to style. All that means that in the right hands, Affilistore need not outwardly display its roots as a free script.
As an occasional item, I will feature sites that I believe show off Affilistore 2.01 and demonstrate to a high standard just what can be achieved with the right skillset and a bit of design interpretation.
First up in this series is Plobit.co.uk (also has a sister US site at plobit.com).
The two sites are neatly linked with nice features such as bookmarking (and set as home page) and the site identity/brand logo is attractively created and doesn’t appear to be based upon clip art or standard business logo for free offerings. That alone gives a professional feel.
But where I think the site sings out is that it just looks so different from default Affilistore and looks so much more pofessional, yet the clues are still there with the featured and popular product boxes.
If I had one criticism, it would be that I think that the site would look even better with the right hand panel also restyled to blend in with the new plobit colour theme … perhaps that is on the agenda.
Anyway, Plobit.co.uk is my favourite reskinning effort of recent times …. well done Bluezon!!
