Apologies to readers and to Sergey of Storebrander. Having written my last post about Storebrander, I played further with my dns settings for the www version of dvdbrowser.co.uk and promptly broke it.
So …. apologies to those readers who wondered what it was all about … and aplogies to Sergey who fielded lots of questions about availability of service to my demo store.
The problem was not with Storebrander. It was with some DNS settings at my registrar that stubbornly refused to update.
So, both versions of dvdbrowser are both online now, demonstrating that there is a difference between the two sites.
Following my feedback, Sergey of Storebrander has indicated that he may change the coding to have both non-www and www resolve to the same domain and ultimately be served from the same storebrander store eliminating canonical differences. Watch this space.
