Affilistore Enhanced 2.6 (loosely based upon Affilistore 2.01) is our next expected upgrade and Yes … it is a little late based upon our prior estimates
However, we promise that this is worth waiting for. The truth is that you get it for free and you need to wait whilst our paid jobs take precedence. However, we are hoping that the release will be made public production release over the next two weeks.
The BIG change is that Affilistore Enhanced will be made more accomodating of ’special’ characters i.e. foreign language compared to Original Affilistore … see Cheap Wines to see how well this is handled..

Hopefully around the middle of this month.
You didn’t do so bad in the past in making original Affilistore look great with your own skinning. Hopefully in developing Affilistore Enhanced, we have eliminated some of the problems which caused your host difficulty with Affilistore.
If you purchased the footer link removal tool from Affilistore, it will also work with ASE.
If I can get this enhanced version to work I will buy the footer removal thing. I have said all along I do not mind paying for the script if it would work.
Can I make a recommendation about the content links? I have paid twice now to have it so that when the person clicks on the link it would take them back to a full description page on my site and not the merchant page. PLEASE add this. It took my programmer about 3 days to completely write a full new program with updates. He allowed me to change colors of links, add description or not, price or not, change text for product name, size of photo, etc. I don’t mind sending you the file if you can please hurry.
Oh and for beta testing, I can break it if you need help figuring out problems.

Affilistore Enhanced (and Affilistore) are intended to bring visitors to the site and to then go to merchant and buy the product.
I am somewhat confused by your wish to send people back to your own site, though I can see perhaps why a ‘more info’ back to your own detailed review might be more of a hard and engaging sell. Surely you can still do that without involving programmers by modifying the feed … instead of merchant deeplink, you put your own deeplink? If you want to talk more on that suggest you raise a forum topic. The discussion is a bit OT for here.
Poking around the web the other day and found affilistore plus V 6.01 for sale here http://www.pluskit.biz/_catalog/all_pluskit_script/_affilistoreplus for $49.95. So it looks like any hope of getting anymore “free” plus versions are probably gone.
On the contrary, you have stumbled across a pirate copy that was ripped off from an early version of Affilistore.
Development hasn’t stopped here, nor plans to release a Free Affilistore Enhanced

Glad I posted this to find out it was a pirate copy. Explains why the support never answered my email about the scripts. Also glad that I did not spend money on it. Probably wouldn’t have been able to get a refund. Hopefully you can get it taken down.
