With more than $25 billion spent on advertising this year, most eyes are on New York as Walt Disney Company’s new research facility will unveil some early findings and suggest online ad formats to about 200 advertisers. The formats, according to The New York Times , represent layouts based on what our brains prefer, whether we click on the ads or not. The emerging media and advertising research lab was launched in May 2008 under the direction of Prof. Duane Varan, an authority on the future of television and advertising.

SEO has three main branches: the identification of “keywords”, using those words to change how your web page appears to search engines, and the use of other sites to promote yours (link exchanges, etc). I intend to focus on keywords and their use. Keywords are a set of single words and/or phrases that best describe the content of your web site. The critical stumbling block to excellent keyword selection is that the Internet has become flooded with competitors for every target audience.

You could always have some other banner on your website, or even use some search of affiliate ad program and that would in all probability make you some money, given of course that your site enjoys a healthy amount of visitors. However with affiliate marketing, it is expected that the visitor from your site completes a sale before you are remunerated.
